Delete Your Reviveo Account

Reviveo lets you permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways to do this:

1. Delete from inside the app

This is the fastest path. With the app installed and signed in:

1. Tap the settings cog in the top right of the home screen to open the Settings screen.
2. Scroll to the Account section.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm twice. The deletion is irreversible.

2. Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app installed, or you can't sign in for any reason, email us:

info@reviveo.app

Please send the request from the email address associated with your Reviveo account so we can verify ownership. Include any account details that help us identify you (e.g., the username shown on your memories). We'll confirm the deletion by reply within seven (7) business days.

What gets deleted

Account deletion removes all of the following permanently:

• Your Reviveo account record (email, username, profile)
• Every memory video you created — including draft, in‑progress, and finished memories
• Every Event you created — and every memory inside those events
• All reference images and uploaded media stored in our cloud (AWS S3)
• All generated AI videos and thumbnails
• Your push notification token
• Your Firebase Authentication record
• Your in‑app purchase history records (the financial transactions remain with Apple / Google for tax and refund purposes; we no longer retain them)

What's retained, and for how long

A small amount of information may be retained after deletion, only where required:

• Anonymized audit logs of moderation events (text or image attempts that were blocked by our content filters) may be retained for up to 24 months for safety and abuse‑prevention purposes. These records do not include your name or contact information after account deletion.
• Payment receipts required for tax compliance are retained as required by U.S. law (typically seven years), but are stored by the payment processors (Apple, Google) — not by Reviveo.
• Aggregated, non‑identifying analytics (e.g., how many users opened a screen) cannot be tied back to your deleted account and may persist indefinitely.
