Terms of Service

Effective Date: May 4, 2026
Last Updated: May 21, 2026

Welcome to Reviveo. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the Reviveo mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Philip Sopher ("Reviveo," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to consent to data processing) to use Reviveo. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at info@reviveo.app if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Your Content

Reviveo lets you upload photos, audio, text, and other materials (your "User Content") and generate AI-rendered videos from them. You retain ownership of your User Content. By uploading it, you grant Reviveo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and display your User Content for the sole purpose of operating and improving the Service. This license ends when you delete your User Content or your account, except to the extent necessary to comply with law or as set out in our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to upload your User Content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights, violate any law, or include any of the prohibited content described below.

You are solely liable for the content of any videos you create, generate, share, or otherwise distribute using the Service, including any harm or damages arising from that content. Reviveo is a creative tool; it does not endorse, verify, or vouch for any User Content or AI-generated output, and you accept full responsibility for the consequences of the videos you produce.

You represent and warrant that you have obtained the express, informed permission of every identifiable person whose likeness, face, name, voice, or other identifying attributes appear in or are referenced by your User Content or in any video you generate using the Service (each a "Character"). Where a Character is a minor or otherwise lacks capacity to consent, you must have obtained that permission from a parent or legal guardian with authority to grant it. You must keep this permission on file and produce it on request. Reviveo does not verify these permissions and is not responsible for content created, generated, or shared without them; any liability arising from a missing or invalid permission rests solely with you.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, obscene, or that violates any person's privacy or publicity rights;
  • upload content depicting people without their consent (or without the consent of a parent or guardian where required);
  • create content intended to deceive, impersonate, or harm others;
  • infringe any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right;
  • attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service; or
  • use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.

We reserve the right to remove any content and to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Automated moderation. To enforce these rules, the text you enter and the reference images you upload are automatically scanned against industry-standard content-moderation systems before generation or storage. Content that fails moderation is rejected and not stored, and we may also log the attempt for administrator review. Automated moderation is imperfect; if you believe content was wrongly blocked, contact us at info@reviveo.app.

Reporting. If you encounter content within a shared Event that you believe violates these Terms, use the in-app "Report Event" control on the event's Details tab. Reports are reviewed by Reviveo administrators and may result in account suspension or content removal.

5. AI-Generated Content

Reviveo uses third-party artificial intelligence services to generate videos from your User Content. AI-generated outputs are probabilistic and may contain inaccuracies, distortions, or unexpected artifacts. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated videos are creative interpretations and not factual recordings;
  • you are responsible for reviewing AI-generated outputs before sharing them;
  • you will not present AI-generated videos as authentic recordings of real events without disclosure; and
  • Reviveo is not responsible for how you, or anyone you share your videos with, uses or interprets AI-generated content.

6. Events

Reviveo lets you create "Events" — shared spaces where you (the "Event Creator") invite others ("Participants") to contribute reference images and generate AI videos centered on a celebrated person (the "Person Celebrated").

  • Sole liability. The Event Creator is solely liable for the Event they create, including the identity of the Person Celebrated, who is invited, what reference images are uploaded, and any video generated under the Event.
  • Permissions. The Event Creator represents and warrants that they have obtained the express, informed permission of the Person Celebrated (or a parent/legal guardian where the Person Celebrated is a minor or otherwise lacks capacity) to upload their likeness, name, voice, or other identifying attributes and to have AI videos generated featuring them. The Event Creator must keep that permission on file and produce it on request.
  • Participants. Anyone the Event Creator invites or who joins via an Event ID/Password becomes a Participant. The Event Creator is responsible for the Participants they admit. Each Participant remains individually responsible for their own User Content under §3 and §4.
  • Pre-paid video pools. Event Creators may pre-purchase a pool of videos that Participants draw from. Pre-paid credits attached to an Event are not transferable, redeemable for cash, or refundable except as required by law or by the applicable platform's policies (see §7).
  • Suspension. Reviveo may suspend or terminate any Event that violates these Terms — for example, an Event built around a person who has not given permission, or an Event used to host prohibited content — and is not responsible for content created within an Event before such action.

7. Purchases and In-App Payments

Some features of the Service are paid (for example, generating additional videos or topping up an Event's pre-paid pool). When you make a purchase, the transaction is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) in accordance with their respective terms. Any refund, billing, or chargeback request must generally be directed to the platform that processed your payment.

Pre-paid video credits are not transferable, redeemable for cash, or refundable except as required by law or by the applicable platform's policies.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately, but provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability) will continue to apply.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Reviveo be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Service. Reviveo's total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid Reviveo in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Reviveo harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you in-app or by email before it takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the new Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the changes.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, U.S.A., without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and Reviveo consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

14. Apple App Store Provisions

The following provisions apply only to your use of the Service through the Apple App Store, and form part of these Terms:

  • Parties. These Terms are concluded between you and Reviveo, not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Reviveo, not Apple, is solely responsible for the Service and its content.
  • Scope of license. Your licence to use the Reviveo iOS app is a non-transferable licence to use it on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the App Store Terms of Service.
  • Maintenance and support. Reviveo is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for the Service. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the Service.
  • Warranties. Reviveo, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the Service or your use of it, including (a) product liability claims, (b) any claim that the Service fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and (c) claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation. In the event of any failure of the Service to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the Service (if any) to you; to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the Service.
  • Intellectual property claims. In the event of any third-party claim that the Service or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Reviveo, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
  • Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that (a) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (b) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Third-party beneficiary. You and Reviveo acknowledge that Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
